Eva Mendes is an American model and actor. The talent agent who spotted her talent and appreciated her skills inspired her to join the entertainment industry. The university she attended dropped her after much consideration to pursue a career in entertainment. Her debut came in the film Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, but she wasn't thrilled with the way it turned out. She worked hard to hone her acting abilities and appeared in numerous low-budget films in order to show her abilities. The perseverance and determination resulted in a successful outcome. Her name was praised and she received positive reviews for her performance in the movie Training Day after which her acting career began to take off.
